Obituary for Diane M. Harding

Diane M Harding, age 67, of Rhinebeck New York passed away peacefully on Friday January 5, 2018 after a long courageous battle with Cystic Fibrosis. She was born in Poughkeepsie, New York to the late Frank and Dorothy Freer Klump. On August 21, 1971 she married the love of her life, John F. Harding in Poughkeepsie, New York who survives at home. In addition to her spouse, Diane is survived by her three loving daughters and their spouses. Dawn and Brian Romer Jr. of Staatsburg, New York, Michelle and Robert Gibson Jr of Staatsburg, New York, and Diane and Victor Sutter of Rhinebeck, New York. She is also survived by her four loving grandchildren who meant the world to her, Tyler, Anthony, Ashley, and Kaitlyn. In addition she is survived by several siblings, two whom predeceased her, along with many nieces and nephews. Diane attended Poughkeepsie schools and then went onto work for ShopRite. After many years of dedicated service she retired due to illness in 2004. Diane enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was also a member of the Hudson Valley Classic Chevy Club as well as her husband and who were both avid NASCAR fans. A special thank you to Dr. Suzette Gjonaj, Dr. Timothy Collins, Dr. Harry Suseelan and the South Circle 7 at VBMC for their compassion and care for our beloved mother. To her niece Kelly Harrison, you are and always will be her guardian angel. We love you to the moon and back. If desired in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Maria Ferreira Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York or, to your local Cystic Fibrosis chapter in memory of Diane M Harding.
